RTS Train the Trainer Program
RTS Train the Trainer Program
Regional Transit Service is delighted to offer a Train the Trainer Program to agencies in our community who are interested in learning about public transportation.
The Train the Trainer program is designed to explain the importance of public transportation and its benefits. In addition, trainees will be taught how to navigate our neighborhoods utilizing the bus system so that, in turn, they can educate their clients/consumers with their transportation needs. Some of the materials that will be covered during this training are planning a trip, boarding and deboarding, paying the fare, and much more.
The duration of the training is four hours, including one fifteen minute break. At the end of the training session, trainees’ knowledge will be assessed to ensure understanding of the material presented. Upon successfully completing the training, trainees will be given a “Train the Trainer’s Pass” which will enable them to utilize our system, any day at any time, free of charge for one year. At the end of the year, trainees will be able to renew their Train the Trainer’s Pass just by returning the old pass by mail or in person to Millie Rosa / 1372 E. Main St. / Rochester / NY / 14609 or at the RTS Midtown booth located at the Greyhound/Trailways Station.
To schedule a Train the Trainer session, please contact Millie Rosa at 654-0203 or via e-mail at mrosa@rgrta.com.
